Title Details
Jill Reichman  10/30/19 Dr. Reichman graduated from Hahnemann University's Physician Assistant Program in 1981 and joined the faculty at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Physician Assistant Program in Piscataway. She received a Masters of Public Health in 1988 from UMDNJ - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University, and a Doctorate in Medical Humanities from Drew University in 2014. Since 1981, she has served as a PA program faculty member, Assistant Director, Associate Director, Director of the Program, and is currently the department Chair. As the Department Chair, Dr. Reichman's educational mission is to assure that every graduate of the Department has the skills and knowledge to provide the highest quality health care to their patients. Along with the Program Director, she helps to lead a very dedicated faculty in fulfilling this mission. Dr. Reichman is also working with the Program’s new clinical faculty practice that provides patient care and serves as a model of PA utilization in New Jersey. Dr. Reichman enjoys teaching students and participates in several of the courses offered by the PA Program including Medical Interviewing and Medical Ethics. She has a strong interest in medical humanities, mindfulness and narrative medicine and has worked to incorporate these areas of study into the PA Program curriculum.
