Research Interests
My line of scholarship aims to address the effectiveness and optimization of exercise prescription, physical therapy intervention, and multidisciplinary care in cardiovascular and pulmonary compromised patients in the acute care hospital based setting.

Sheena MacFarlane, PT, DPT, CCS  2019 Sheena is an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University-School of Health Professions. She teaches cardiopulmonary physical therapy within the curriculum. Sheena earned her Board Certification as a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2016. She has spent her career working in acute care physical therapy.
