Research
Research Interests
My research interest focuses on Virtual Reality and robotic assisted rehabilitation system design and development. I was the principal engineer that designed the NJIT RAVR system and the NJIT TrackGlove systems. I participated in two large studies examining the use of these systems in children with CP and adults with stroke. I also designed all of the kinematic testing software for these studies. Since then, along with Amanda Cronce, I designed the NJIT-HoVRS system. Currently, I am leading the system feasibility and effectiveness study.

Qinyin Qiu, Ph.D  2019 Dr. Qinyin Qiu received a Baccalaureate degree in computer science from Hangzhou Dianzi University. She received her master’s degree in computer engineering from University of Southern California, and Doctoral in Biomedical Engineering from New Jersey institute of Technology and University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Qiu is assistant professor at Department of Rehabilitation and Movement Science.
