I. Purpose |
This policy establishes the SHP admissions policy. |
II. Accountability |
The Associate Dean for Academic Affairs is responsible for this policy. The SHP Director of Admissions implements the policy. |
III. Policy |
The Rutgers – School of Health Professions seeks to admit students who meet the academic and pre-professional requirements of the programs offered by the School. Each of the programs has its own identity, characteristics, and objectives. Please refer to specific SHP program or joint program agreements for all applicable policies. Each program renders its own recommendations to the Office of Enrollment Management based on its stated admissions requirements. Rutgers-SHP does not discriminate in admissions or access to its programs and activities on the basis of race/color, national origin, ethnicity, religion/creed, disability, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation or veteran’s status. Admission of students who have disabilities is governed by the University Policy regarding persons who have disabilities. |
