I. Purpose |
This policy establishes the number of graduate level courses that may be taken by undergraduate students and the number of 4000 level courses that may be taken by graduate students. |
II. Accountability |
The Program Director is responsible for this policy. The SHP Registrar implements this policy. |
III. Applicability |
Undergraduates, nearing completion of a baccalaureate degree, may normally take up to six credits of 5000 or 6000 level courses toward their undergraduate degree provided they have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 and have received pre¬approval from the Program Director. Programs with approved curricula exceeding this limit are exempt from this policy. If a Program's policies permit, students may take up to six credits of 4000 level courses and apply them toward the graduate degree while matriculated as a graduate student provided: 1) the courses were not prerequisite for admission to the graduate program and 2) pre-approval is granted by the Program Director. |
